School Structure

Tockington Manor School is comprised of three main academic sections: Nursery, Lower School and Upper School.

The Nursery takes children from the age of 2. The Lower School covers Reception to Year 2 (4-7 year olds), whilst the Upper School is for pupils in Years 3 to 8 (7-13 year olds).

We are totally committed to the personal development of each individual child studying at Tockington Manor, and this approach is reflected in our day-to-day academic programme.

Children are divided into sets for some subjects to allow study to progress at a pace appropriate to individual ability. We pride our selves on our language provision; all pupils learn French and can additionally study Latin from year 6.

The School has specialist departments to support children with learning difficulties and special educational needs. We also offer tuition in English as a Foreign Language.

The school day contains eight time tabled periods as well as time for a wide range of other activities.
